The scholarship campaign for the new school year at the Lycée Français Alejo Carpentier in Havana is now open.
You can submit your scholarship application to the embassy by appointment only (to make an appointment, contact admin-francais.la-havane-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr).
You will find attached the application form and the list of supporting documents to enclose with the application.
The Embassy would like to remind you that scholarships are not awarded automatically and can only be awarded on the basis of a completed, dated and signed application form and the supporting documents corresponding to your situation.

Depending on the income of French families, the French government provides financial assistance to guarantee their child’s education from the age of 3 through to the end of secondary school.
Families are informed of the rules governing the award of school grants. Applications can be collected from the school secretary’s office or the Consulate from 1 February of each calendar year. Completed applications must then be returned to the French Consulate before the specified deadline. The results of the scholarship committee are sent directly to the parents by the Consulate.
To be eligible for a bursary, children must :
Be of French nationality
Families must not be entitled to French social benefits (family allowances, parental leave, etc.).
