Our school project focuses on multilingualism, pathways to excellence and cultural openness.
There are many projects and activities: language certifications, cultural and artistic projects, a bilingual class in nursery school, the opening of International Sections and Bachibac.
Spanish is taught as a dual language

The concept of dual language is associated with the acquisition of French and Spanish through immersion from an early age.
The aim is to help pupils structure their language around their mother tongue: French or Spanish.
The younger the child, the more important the language structuring process. This is why the Spanish timetable is degressive from PS to GS.

SI students follow the 3 hours of Spanish language lessons based on the Spanish education system’s syllabus.
Enhanced English section

The section enabling pupils to take 3 hours of English as a language of study is not an officially recognised international section. It is a way of reinforcing English language skills.
At the end of the school year, each class level has the possibility of transferring into or out of the SI. Applications are examined by the SI Council. There are no exams in SI to move up to the next class.

In history and geography, SI students receive half of their teaching in Spanish. The content follows the syllabus of the French education system.
SI students have 4 hours a week of literature in Spanish.
SI and non-SI students are grouped together in the same class for all lessons other than SI.
At the end of the school year, each class level has the possibility of transferring to or from the SI. Applications are examined by the SI Council. There are no exams in SI to move up to the next class.
In troisième (year 9), SI students may take the ‘collège series, international option’ option of the diplôme national du brevet. The brevet then includes two specific tests: history-geography and Spanish language.
At the end of the third year, SI students can go on to Seconde Section BACHIBAC.

The syllabuses for the BACHIBAC bi-national section are set jointly by France and Spain.
Students must enrol at the end of the Troisième year. A student who is not an SI student may enrol in the BACHIBAC section. There is no possibility of transferring from Première.
Students enrolled in the BACHIBAC section choose whether or not to take the BACHIBAC when they register for the baccalauréat exam.
