The strength of the AEFE network

Through six testimonials, discover the strengths of the AEFE network and the French education system, which contribute to France’s influence abroad.

The Lycée Français Internationale in Havana is home to 130 students of 30 different nationalities. Its school project focuses on multilingualism, pathways to excellence and cultural openness. This commitment enables students to achieve outstanding academic results and to enter the higher education establishments of their choice.

APE

Parents Association

The APE (parents’ association) is administered by a board of 8 parents elected by the general meeting of parents. It sits on the school’s governing body. The office or management committee, chosen by the Board of Directors, is made up of a President, a Treasurer, a Vice-President and two secretaries. Under the terms of the agreement signed with the AEFE, the managing body manages the school under shared governance with the headteacher.
